About Us

"Where sunrise over the plains, calm spaces, and warm family hospitality create an experience that feels natural and unrushed."

Our Family

Wenlock Safaris is built on three generations of Karoo heritage. Garth and Lynda bring a calm, grounded presence shaped by a lifetime on the land — from Garth’s deep wildlife knowledge to Lynda’s warm hospitality and wholesome farm‑style cooking. Their daughter Amy adds a welcoming, family‑focused touch, while her husband Kyle brings a passion for wildlife, ethical hunting, and sharing the bush with guests. Together, they offer an experience rooted in authenticity, care, and true Karoo tradition.

Our Values

“Wenlock Safaris is guided by a clear, grounded philosophy: respect the land, honour the wildlife, and welcome every guest with genuine warmth. These values shape how we operate — from conservation and ethical hunting to the way we host you on the farm. They reflect who we are as a family and the deep connection we share with the Eastern Cape landscape.”

Stewardship of the Land

We care for the veld with long‑term commitment — restoring natural habitats, managing wildlife responsibly, and ensuring the land thrives for future generations.

Authentic Hospitality

Every visit is personal. Guests are welcomed with sincerity, guided with patience, and hosted with the same warmth we share within our own family.

Ethical Hunting

We uphold responsible, fair‑chase hunting that honours each animal and supports sustainable wildlife management across the farm.

“You can feel the family’s connection to the land in every part of the experience — it’s warm, personal, and deeply authentic.”
